Opt-Out Policy for Meta Products Catalog
When you shop with Michael Kloth Photography through Facebook or Instagram, Meta (Facebook's parent company) uses information about your browsing and purchasing behavior to personalize your shopping experience and show you relevant products across their platforms.
What Information Is Shared
I sync my product catalog with Meta to make it easier for you to discover and purchase:
Pet photography sessions
Professional headshot packages
Gift certificates
Fine art prints
Photography products
This catalog includes product names, descriptions, prices, images, and availability. When you interact with these products on Facebook or Instagram, Meta may collect information about your activity to improve your shopping experience.
Your Right to Opt Out
You have the right to limit how Meta uses your information for personalized shopping experiences. Here's how to manage your preferences:
On Facebook:
Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings
Click "Ads" in the left menu
Under "Advertisers and Businesses," select "Businesses from Pixel, SDK and Conversions API"
Find "Michael Kloth Photography" and remove it from your list
On Instagram:
Go to Settings > Ads
Select "Data about your activity from partners"
Turn off the option to allow businesses to share data about your activity
Browser-Based Options:
You can also manage tracking through your web browser:
Enable "Do Not Track" in your browser settings
Use browser extensions that limit tracking
Clear cookies regularly

Contact me directly at mike@michaelklothphotography.com with "Meta Catalog Opt-Out" in the subject line. I'll document your request, though please note that this won't affect data Meta has already collected, or Meta's general use of your Facebook/Instagram activity.
What Opting Out Means
If you opt out of Meta's personalized shopping features:
You can still shop with me directly through michaelklothphotography.com
You can still contact me via phone, email, or my contact form
You may still see my ads on Facebook and Instagram, but they won't be based on your past activity with my catalog
Your shopping experience on Facebook and Instagram may be less personalized
My Commitment to Your Privacy
I use Meta's shopping tools because they make it easier for you to discover my work and book sessions. However, I respect your right to control how your information is used.
I don't sell your personal information to third parties. The product catalog sync with Meta is solely to facilitate shopping on Facebook and Instagram platforms.
