Digital Files

High-resolution digital files available individually at $350 per image, sized up to 3,300 × 4,200 pixels (adequate for printing up to 11×14).

Digital file requirements:

• Available only as add-on to print purchase (minimum $125 in prints from session)

• Print credits cannot be applied toward digital file purchases

• Personal use only; no commercial licensing

• Social media sharing encouraged with photo credit

Terms & Conditions

Payment & Booking

Session fee payment:

• Due within 48 hours of booking confirmation

• Must be paid no later than the day before your session

• Accepted methods: Credit card, check (made out to Michael Kloth Photography), PayPal, Venmo

Print & product payment:

• Payment in full due at time of order

• Orders ship or are ready for pickup once payment clears

Specialty package payment:

• See payment options listed under each package above

• All payments subject to current Tucson sales tax rates

Scheduling & Rescheduling

Initial booking:

• Sessions scheduled upon receipt of session fee

• Specialty package clients receive priority booking

Rescheduling policy:

• 72+ hours notice: Free reschedule, no penalty

• 48-72 hours notice: $50 rescheduling fee

• Less than 48 hours or no-show: Session fee forfeited, no refund

Emergency exceptions:

• Pet or family medical emergencies reviewed case-by-case

• Documentation may be requested for emergency rescheduling

Photographer cancellation:

• If I cannot accommodate your scheduled session, you receive a free reschedule with no penalties

Geographic Coverage & Travel

Standard service area: Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Vail, Catalina Foothills (no additional travel fee)

Extended service area: Sessions outside standard area subject to travel fee based on distance. Contact for quote.

Print Credits

How credits work:

• Credits apply to prints, canvas, metal prints, acrylic prints, or other products

• Credits cannot be applied toward digital file purchases

• Credits are applied at current pricing at time of product purchase

• Standard sessions: Credits expire 180 days after gallery delivery

• Specialty packages: Credits roll forward across sessions and expire 180 days after final session's gallery delivery

• Credits are non-refundable and cannot be converted to cash

Example: Puppy Legacy Collection with $1,600 total credits expires 180 days after your third session's gallery is delivered, giving you ample time to review all three sessions together when making print decisions.

Image Delivery & Gallery Access

Timeline:

• In-person photo review appointment scheduled 2-3 weeks after your session

• Private online gallery delivered within 48 hours of photo review appointment

• Standard sessions: Gallery remains active for 180 days after delivery

• Specialty packages: All galleries remain active for 180 days after final session's gallery delivery

• Gallery reactivation after expiration: $50 fee

Rush processing available:

• Expedited delivery for clients needing faster turnaround

• Rush fee: $150 per session

• Includes priority editing and gallery delivery within one week of session (photo review may be virtual or accelerated timeline)

• Available for both standard and specialty package sessions

Editing:

• Professional editing and color correction on all images selected for print/product purchase

• Proof-level editing on gallery images not purchased

Gallery reminders: Automated email reminders sent at regular intervals to help you maximize your print credits before expiration.

Usage Rights & Licensing

Your rights:

• Personal use of purchased prints and digital files

• Social media sharing encouraged (please credit/tag @tucsonpetphotography)

• Reproduction rights for personal holiday cards, gifts, and family use

Restrictions:

• No commercial use without written licensing agreement

• No resale or redistribution of digital files

• Digital files may not be altered by third parties for commercial purposes

Portfolio use:

• I reserve the right to use session images for marketing, portfolio, and promotional purposes

• If you prefer specific images not be used publicly, please notify me in writing

• Specialty package clients: I may request permission to share before/after transformations with PACC/HSSA for their marketing (entirely optional)

Session Scope & Modifications

What's included per package tier:

• As described in session package details above

• Pet limits and time allocations as listed

Adding pets mid-session:

• If additional pets join your household during a specialty package timeline, remaining sessions can be upgraded for the price difference

• Example: Session 1 completed as Signature (1 pet). Second pet adopted. Upgrade Session 2 to Master for $400 ($950-$550)

Family member inclusion:

• Your pet(s) are the primary subjects

• Family members welcome to join for portraits within session time at no extra charge

• Sessions focused primarily on people require separate booking

Refunds & Transferability

Session fees:

• Standard sessions: Non-refundable once paid, but can be rescheduled per policy above

• Specialty packages: Non-refundable once purchased

Specialty package transferability:

• Pet passes away: Credits transfer to another pet in household or family member's pet

• Client relocates: Package may transfer to another person in Tucson area (subject to approval)

• Pet rehomed: Package forfeits, no refund

• Pet medical condition: If pet develops serious medical condition preventing photography, reviewed case-by-case with possible timeline extension

Print/product orders:

• All sales final once order is placed

• Damaged or defective items replaced at no charge

Package Availability

Specialty packages:

• Limited to approximately 6 active packages at any given time to ensure quality and personal attention

• Waitlist available if currently at capacity

• I reserve the right to limit new package enrollments based on existing commitments

Additional Services

Artist Consultation — $150 Dedicated planning meeting to discuss your artistic vision, review locations, and design custom approaches for your specific needs. Fee is fully deductible from session investment when you book.

Custom Framing Services Professional archival-quality framing arranged through trusted framers. Pricing varies based on size, materials, and complexity.

Installation Services — Starting at $200 Professional installation ensuring proper placement, secure mounting, and optimal presentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does my print credit expire? Standard sessions: 180 days after your gallery is delivered. Specialty packages: 180 days after your final session's gallery is delivered, allowing you to review all sessions together.

Can I purchase prints after my credit expires? Yes — all print pricing remains available indefinitely. Your gallery can be reactivated for $50 if it has expired.

Do you photograph pets other than dogs and cats? Absolutely. I've created portraits of rabbits, ferrets, birds, reptiles, and other beloved companions. My mobile studio accommodates various species and temperaments.

What if my pet doesn't cooperate during the session? I've worked with pets professionally for nearly two decades. I bring patience, gentle handling techniques, and flexibility to every session. We'll work at your pet's pace to create beautiful portraits even with anxious or energetic animals.

Can I order different print sizes than what's listed? Yes — custom sizes available upon request. Contact me with your specific needs for pricing.

What if I want to add more pets to my specialty package? You can upgrade remaining sessions by paying the difference in package tier pricing. We'll discuss the best approach for your growing family.

Do you offer payment plans for large print orders? Payment plans may be available for orders over $1,000. Contact me to discuss options.

When is my photo review appointment? Your in-person photo review is typically scheduled 2-3 weeks after your session. This is when we'll review your images together and you'll make your selections. Your online gallery will be available within 48 hours of this appointment.

Can I get my gallery faster? Yes — rush processing is available for $150 per session. This includes priority editing and gallery delivery within one week of your session.
